Parents and carers who have the app installed are receiving messages only within the app, despite the school being charged for these messages to be delivered as standard text messages. This is not the service we are paying for, nor is it the service we were led to believe we would receive.
As a result, the school is being charged for text message delivery that is not actually taking place, which appears misleading and potentially a misrepresentation of the service we are being billed for.
