Introducing top up reminders for parents The Goal: To enhance parental engagement by ensuring seamless integration and user experience between the SchoolMoney app and the Eduspot app. Overview: This objective focuses on enabling the WisePay app to communicate effectively with the Eduspot app. By linking these apps, we aim to provide families with real-time updates, notifications, and messages, simplifying their management of school-related communications. Key Highlights: Seamless communication between WisePay and Eduspot for unified parent notifications. Simplified user experience, reducing the need for parents to switch between multiple apps. Customer Benefit(s): Parents will benefit from streamlined communication, receiving timely updates and notifications in one easily accessible location. For schools, this integration strengthens the connection with families, fostering trust and enhancing overall communication effectiveness.

The Goal: To support parents in managing school payments by providing tools and reminders, specifically focused on topping up cashless catering balances. Overview: We will introduce reminder notifications and intuitive tools within WisePay to help parents stay on top of their payments for Cashless Catering. Parents will receive timely reminders when it’s time to top up their accounts, ensuring they never miss a payment. This feature will improve financial management for parents, making it easier to ensure their children have access to essential services without disruptions. Key Highlights: Introduction of automated reminders for topping up:- Timely notifications to ensure parents can top up their accounts before balances run low. Customer Benefit(s): Parents will benefit from receiving clear reminders, reducing the likelihood of missed payments and avoiding any disruptions in their children's services.

On the previous system, we had the option to create an additional contact for pupils, such as foster carers (who do not have PR and don't pull through from MIS), estranged parents etc which would then allow us to add the class and year group information. This meant that the additional contacts never missed a message. That option no longer appears to be available, making it very easy for human error as not all members of staff will remember who has an additional contact. This is a poor feature and very disappointing as it is creating a lot more work in an already very busy environment.

Can we have an ALL option for recipients search please. Where we have had to add contacts to OTHER for Pupils with Court Orders and Foster Carers etc, we need a facility to be able to search in STUDENTS and OTHER at the same time. Perhaps you could add an ALL option to the recipients search - Whilst the Office would know who has OTHER contacts, all staff users may not.

PLEASE can you add the facility to schedule emails. We use it so much for text and this would be really helpful for emails too when we need to attach letters/school reports etc.

Good afternoon, I am posting this to the product roadmap with the hope it can be implemented in the future to make it easier for our local authority to run SMS Unit usage for specific date periods that is part of our monitoring and charging process for schools. Currently, we are having to ask Daniel Kemp for SMS unit usage for our schools every quarter so we can see where schools are overusing and charging them via our financial team for the periods they have exceeded their allowance we have provided. If we currently want to run this ourselves - we have to go through 302 establishments which is not ideal for the size of our local authority. Having access to a report that allows us to run the SMS Unit usage every quarter for all of our schools into the one place would make it a lot easier and make the process of adding this to our spreadsheet much easier. It would make the task much more streamlined and faster to do on our side of things. I am confident that other local authorities would benefit from having this report and to be able to control when they can generate this report for their own tracking, monitoring and charging processes. You’ll now be able to see whether a message was scheduled before it was sent. This small but helpful improvement makes it easier to track how and when messages were planned, especially useful when reviewing communication history or coordinating with colleagues.

Schools moving from Teachers2Parents Classic to Teachers2Parents (new) can now benefit from a faster, more efficient way to set up staff access. This update allows roles, such as admin or reports-only, to be assigned in bulk, saving time and reducing manual effort. Staff will automatically receive the right access and any necessary login details, helping schools get up and running with the newest version of Teachers2Parents more quickly and smoothly.

Schools can now choose to include additional contacts - such as second parents - in student messaging on a per-student basis. This supports families with separated parents by allowing messages to be sent to both contacts only where needed, helping schools manage communication costs and privacy more effectively. Administrators can enable messaging for individual non-primary contacts using a simple tickbox in the student’s contact tab. Contacts marked as “Do Not Contact” will still be excluded, ensuring sensitive preferences are respected.
