We’ve introduced a new feature that standardises the monitoring provision type for early SEN identification in Arbor. This helps ensure consistent SEN data for reporting and filtering.
***
Available to: All users with Arbor schools in Assembly
What’s new?
New Monitoring provision type for SEN tracking:
We’ve added and standardised the Monitoring provision type for proactive SEN identification in Arbor. Pupils marked as Monitoring in Arbor will now map to N in Assembly’s SEND reporting.
Updated reports:
This update applies to
  • Characteristics > SEND
  • All other reports that use the SEN provision filter
Key Benefit(s)
This ensures consistent SEN data across reports for better accuracy and insight.
We’ve improved how pupil demographic data is displayed across academic years, ensuring reports are more accurate and reliable. This update ensures that characteristics such as Pupil Premium, FSM, and EAL are correctly tied to the academic year shown in all reports.
What's New?
Accurate group history in reports
: Reports now link pupils to the correct academic year based on their group membership enrolment history. This means demographic data like Pupil Premium, FSM, and EAL is accurately associated with the year displayed.
Improved Characteristics report
: The Characteristics report has been enhanced to reflect these changes, alongside the new feature that lets you toggle between past academic years.
Updates across all demographic reports
: We’ve also updated all other reports that display pupil demographic data for the selected academic year, resolving previous inconsistencies for better data accuracy.
Key Benefit(s):
  • Get a clear and reliable view of key characteristics like Pupil Premium, FSM, and EAL across past academic years.
  • Confidently analyse trends and make informed decisions based on consistent data.
This release is an improvement to include default national benchmarking in more reports, ensuring continuity and a standardised approach across the Assembly platform.
What’s new?
All reports have now been updated to show the default national benchmarking for every school phase. When you select a phase (e.g. Non-applicable, Primary, Secondary, All-through), the benchmarking figures dynamically update.
This update applies to the following reports:
  • Characteristics
  • Attendance
  • Exclusions
  • End of Key Stage (EoKS)
Key Benefit(s):
This update provides a consistent view across all reports, improving clarity and making it easier to compare data confidently and accurately.
Our goal is to have a standardised approach across all reports on the Assembly platform. This update brings CPOMS in line with the same filter logic used on other reports, ensuring consistency across reporting.
What's New?
The
enrolment status filter,
allows for refined safeguarding data based on whether pupils were on roll on, before, or after census day, providing accurate context for reporting.
Key Benefit(s):
This update ensures CPOMS reports deliver the same reporting experience as other reports across the Assembly platform, making it easier to analyse data with greater accuracy and confidence.
We’re always working to make accessing meaningful insights easier. This update introduces a 'social worker filter' across key reports in Assembly.
What's New?
A social worker filter has been added to theses reports:
  • CPOMS
  • Characteristics
  • Historic attendance
  • Exclusions
  • End of Key Stage (EYFS and EoKS1 & 2)
**
Important:
Its currently only available for SIMS schools.
Key Benefit(s):
This update standardises filtering functionality across all these key reports, giving schools greater flexibility and accuracy when analysing pupil data.

    Contact Options
    button in the student details view.
  • High-priority contacts now stand out in orange, so you can identify them quickly.
  • Omission contacts appears in red

  • Clicking on a contact’s phone number or email gives a detailed view with relationship, priority level, status, and other helpful details.
  • We’ve reorganised the admin menu so contact settings are easier to find under Admin – Contact Settings.
  • The Review page now reflects overridden priorities, with “Reachable Contacts” showing both primary and overridden contacts.
  • Duplicate message safeguards ensure the same contact won’t receive the same messages multiple times when marked as both included and second priority.

For example, if a new teacher joins your school and their details are added to the MIS, an account is automatically created for them in the connected systems.
